MARKT-PILOT 2.0: Successful rebranding of a B2B SaaS company
MARKT-PILOT: a start-up from Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg that has not only been revolutionizing the industry with innovation in recent years, but is also constantly scaling both internally and externally. As part of its expansion, locations have already been opened in Chicago, Milan and, most recently, Stockholm.
However, scaling is not only measured in numbers, but also in the ability of a brand to keep pace with changing needs and the increasing global orientation of the market.
In our rebranding project, we worked with MARKT-PILOT to revise the company’s word/image brand and develop icons for the PRICERADAR and PRICEGUIDE products.
In addition to the clear positioning as a “global B2B SaaS player” for the mechanical engineering target group, the new brand was to lend the company more innovation and seriousness and reflect its values. Challenge accepted!
In order to convey continuity and consistency, the previous font was retained. However, the icon required a rethink in order to make a clear distinction between company and product in the future. A step that became essential, not least due to the recent successful launch of the PRICEGUIDE.
For the corporate brand, the initials of MARKT-PILOT were merged into a striking letter logo. The basic idea was to create a classic monogram in which the hyphen is already integrated into the logo. In addition to its unique position, the brand ensures a high level of recognition and stronger identification both internally and externally.
In keeping with the look of the corporate brand, we have also developed independent product icons for the two products PRICERADAR and PRICEGUIDE. If MARKT-PILOT expands its portfolio in the future, other products can easily be branded using the same approach.
In terms of the color scheme, we have opted for a dark blue as the main color, which pays tribute to the brand values of innovation, quality and reliability. The product logos set independent and easily distinguishable accents with their colors.
